The superyacht industry has a problem: Every yacht is unique. Different AV systems, different brands, different protocols. For crews, this means: countless remotes, incompatible systems, and frustrated owners who expect luxury - not technical chaos.
The Solution
YachtCloud is the unified control interface for superyachts. A single app that controls everything: media, lighting, climate, curtains, security systems. Regardless of which hardware is installed - YachtCloud integrates it seamlessly. The system offers one interface for all systems on board, offline-first architecture for the high seas, multi-device synchronization for consistent experiences, luxury user interface for demanding guests, and complete customizability for individual yachts.
The Approach
YachtCloud is a feat of cross-platform development. Native iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin), Desktop (Electron), and embedded systems for direct hardware control. The backend runs on Node.js with a custom protocol for real-time synchronization. Integration with over 15 different AV and automation protocols. Performance-optimized for older hardware on existing yachts.
The Outlook
After 10+ years of continuous development, YachtCloud is the industry standard for superyacht entertainment systems. The platform is constantly being expanded with new integrations and features.
